There are very few food choices missing from ABC’s lengthy and visually scrumptious menu. For example: for breakfast, choose from a multitude of omelettes; egg, bacon & hash brown combinations; stacks of pancakes with various toppings; or get fancy and have one of several tasty Benny concoctions. For lunch, stop by for a pulled pork sandwich, beef dip, fish and chips, stir fry, steak sandwich, or umpteen choices of soups, salads or burgers. Good luck choosing from the dinner menu! Are you in the mood for steak, chicken, pasta or ribs? Or are you craving comfort food like a turkey or pot roast dinner? ABC also offers shrimp, fish, veal, and even liver! And this does not even touch on the numerous appetizers or decadent dessert choices. ABC quite possibly has a menu item for every letter of the alphabet!
The Big Picture
ABC Country Restaurant originated in Cranbrook, British Columbia in 1972, and has since expanded to include approximately two dozen locations throughout BC, and so far has seven locations in Alberta. The basic concept of this restaurant chain is quality down-home cooking, served up in a family-style restaurant with a heaping dose of good old-fashioned hospitality. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and supper, and offers a special menu for seniors.
