Classically Italian
Well it probably won’t turn your life around, but once you have tasted the authentic Italian dishes that they serve up at Ambruzzo Ristorante, your taste buds certainly will be a little bit choosier afterward. The menu at this fine establishment is fully Italian. It is not the type of cuisine that you will find on the menu at one of those big chain restaurants, and you won’t even dream of comparing one of their specialty pastas to something you would find at a pizza place. These folks know what traditional means because the owners are Italian and know the true meaning of the word. They serve up plenty of pastas, seafood, veal and chicken dishes that are sure to make your mouth water.
Not Quite Formal
You don’t need to wear a tux to dine in the historic building that houses Ambruzzo, but you probably shouldn’t show up in a pair of jeans or shorts either. As with any restaurant of this calibre, you can expect top-notch service from their professional wait staff. It is not the type of place that you should bring the kids either, unless of course they are over 18 and have fully developed table manners. What you can and should do though, is bring that special someone along with you for a romantic night on the town. Lunch times are a little more casual than the dinner hour, but you can still expect the same level of comfort and service. They have a well appointed wine list as well as a fully stocked bar and can accommodate private functions.
