Celebrate the Culture
Filipino culture and food come together at Barrio Fiesta. During the day and into the night, this restaurant serves up what they say is some of the best ethnic food in the city. From Thursday to Saturday, starting at 9 pm the music and dancing gets started. Live Filipino bands grace the stage weekly, but you may find a little rock and roll thrown in the mix as well.
A Filipino Menu
Traditional Filipino favourites line the large menu at Barrio Fiesta, as well as the odd bit of more North American style cuisine. You might want to start off with the Pork Sisig, chopped and seasoned pork sautéed and then move on to the Beef Ninja which comes sautéed in ginger, brown sugar, dried mushrooms, carrot strips and basil leaves. There are plenty of chicken, beef, pork and seafood items on the menu.
Good Times
Barrio Fiesta is fully licensed and has a good selection of drinks including beer and coolers, so you will be able to celebrate the night in style. Kids are welcome, but only until 10 pm, when the restaurant goes adult only.
