A National Historic Site
Lougheed House is operated by Lougheed House Conservation Society. Lougheed House Conservation Society is a non-profit society, registered on January 20, 1995, devoted to the restoration and public enjoyment of the historic Lougheed House (Beaulieu) and its Gardens. Beaulieu is the 1891 Lougheed House, a designated National Historic Site in the heart of Calgary.

Beautiful Gardens to Walk
The 2.8-acre estate, a public park known as Beaulieu Gardens, is open daily from 7am- sundown and is always changing. Each spring and summer brings a new design and a new view when you take the time to stroll around the gorgeous park. The grand, sandstone mansion and the adjoining gardens recently underwent a massive restoration to return the heritage site to its former glory. Now an elegant gathering place and a window into Calgary's past, the mansion is open as a Public Heritage Centre.

A Sophisticated Bite to Eat
The Restaurant at Lougheed is now open and promises fine fare in a glorious atmosphere. It is an ideal setting for a special event or wedding. Beaulieu often hosts special events like Concert Series; check their website to see what’s coming up.

Small Treasures
To finish a day off at Lougheed House you can head into Treasures Gift Shop and find a gift for yourself, or someone special. The shop specializes in local and Canadian made chinaware, jewellery, toys and home accessories.
