Western Entertainment Centre
The centrepiece of Boundary Ranch is the Western Entertainment Centre. This is a post-and-beam building made of cedar and logs cut from Albertan forests. It is supported by massive timbers that stretch upwards to a skylight above the central fireplace that seems to hang suspended above you. There are also patios and picnic areas so you can enjoy some fresh air, get your fill of the beautiful mountain views while you relax. There are many activities available to visitors including log sawing, hay rides and practice roping to get you in the Western frame of mind. Another fascinating feature of Boundary Ranch is the buffalo paddock where you can see the huge, powerful buffalo that once covered Alberta’s plains.

Group Activities
Boundary Ranch has a large variety of group activities available. You can enjoy a classic Western barbecue with steaks, loaded baked potatoes, baked beans and much more. The menus are adjustable according to your needs. They also offer the Wild West Rodeo so you can enjoy great rodeo action. The show is an hour long, perfect for some before-dinner entertainment. If you enjoy dancing, the Kananaskis Country hoedown combines great barbecue with learning how to line dance.

Have Fun with Your Food
For a smaller group, there’s the Outfitter’s Chili Cook-Off which allows everyone to pit their chili making skills against “Wolly Walter’s” tastebuds. He’s one of the pack guides at the Ranch and knows good chili when he tastes it. For real excitement, try the Gunfight at the Boundary Corral show. This is a half-hour show full of classic Western “gunfighting” action. Boundary Ranch also offers many trail rides up into the mountains around the ranch. Packages can be tailored to suit your group’s needs.
