What is Lawn Bowling?
Lawn bowling is a fun-filled outdoor sport that resembles indoor bowling but without the pin. Lawn bowling’s benefits include staying fit and healthy in addition to being outdoors (weather permitting). Lawn bowling is also referred to as bowls, bowling on the green, or bocce. The object of the game is to obtain points by getting one’s ball or balls closest to the jack (small white ball), which could be located between 75 to 108 feet from the bowler. The balls or bowls vary in size, weight and degree of bias to suit a variety of bowlers.
