For the Whole Family
Since the early 1990s, this locally owned and operated treasure of a restaurant has been serving up superb seafood and other culinary delights. Boyd’s Seafood Restaurant is large inside and has a warm and inviting ambiance. Decorated with an understated coastal theme, Boyd’s is an excellent place to take the whole family. There are both booths and tables and there high chairs available for the little ones. The service is fast and friendly, the portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. Customers have the option of dining in, taking out or ordering catering services.

Convenient, Casual, Coastal Cuisine
While there are non-seafood options available, Boyd’s is best known and loved for its quality, fresh seafood. Seafood starters range from calamari, tiger shrimp, clams, mussels, bacon wrapped whiskey scallops, bangers, and of course the ever popular crab, artichoke and spinach dip. Classics like a New England clam chowder and a tasty shrimp salad make for either a light meal or a fine start to your meal if you’ve got the room. While there are some savoury non-seafood sandwiches for those feeling land-bound, the Maritime lobster sandwich is sure to attract someone with a hankering for a true catch. The entrees are all very filling and come with seasonal vegetables and a choice of either chef’s rice or roasted rosemary potatoes. But the preferred meal here is still fish and chips. Depending on your appetite, this much loved feast is available in one or two piece portions. This local favourite has been around for as long as it has for a good reason – the food is high quality as is the service.
