The ambiance
Just 20 minutes West of Calgary, tucked in a pleasing tangle of aspens and evergreens, a charming artsy community thrives. Bragg Creek is a desirable destination anytime - be it a sunny Sunday afternoon, or a weekend evening when BCPA is hosting its Main or Spotlight Series. Simply arriving in the quaint hamlet along the Elbow River is rewarding enough for some visitors, but to take in a live concert performance in the town’s splendid Bragg Creek Centre is a true delight!

The performances
BCPA presents a wide variety of musical styles and talents (mainly Canadian) that entertain, provoke, and delight audiences of all ages. The Spotlight Series are concerts with cabaret-style seating for up to 250 adults. A small bar, appetizers, dinner, and dessert are optional features of the Spotlight Series. The Main Series concerts are geared to an audience of any age and seating is theatre-style accommodating up to 600. The bar and a snack concession are open for these performances. All performances for the current year are booked well in advance and posted on the BCPA website. Tickets for all concerts are extremely reasonable!

The enterprise
Bragg Creek Performing Arts is comprised of a number of volunteers from the town’s non-profit community association. The goal of the BCPA is to attract professional performers and offer quality concerts and performances to visitors and residents of the Bragg Creek, Redwood Meadows and Calgary area. Currently in its 26th season, the BCPA has a loyal following and enjoys measurable success.
