If you fancy yourself a wing connoisseur then you may want to try out the crispy little treats at Bubblemania. If you haven’t been in here before or have only seen the sign as you fly by on 16th Ave NE you probably didn’t even realize that this restaurant served wings, never mind the fact that they have a lot of loyal patrons who could go on for hours about how much they enjoy the flavours here. On a scale of one to ten, these folks claim to be consistently in the double digits when it comes to their specialty. Don’t head in if you are in a particular rush or want to make the early movie on the weekend though – this little restaurant fills up pretty quickly, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights and they can’t be considered fast food. Reservations are recommended on the weekend.

What you may have thought when you passed by Bubblemania is about bubble tea. If so, you hit the brain wave jackpot and can congratulate yourself on a job well done. Fans of this type of beverage should try one with a plate of wings and see how well it goes down. You may be very pleasantly surprised. The rest of the menu consists of a variety of Chinese appetizers and dishes including spring rolls, rice dishes and fried noodle dishes.
