In 2005, they were the recipient of the Foothills Readers Choice Awards for being the best place for a first date. To begin your meal, try one of the decadent starters on the menu. A sure favourite is the in-house smoked spring salmon with maple cream cheese. It comes served on toasted sourdough, and garnished with pickled asparagus and sweet red onion. A number of dishes are available for your main course. Try the braised shoulder of windy ridge buffalo or the free range turkey salad with roasted hazelnuts and dried cranberries.
