The Shop
Since the early 1990s, Caffe Beano has been a pillar in its community. It always had an artsy vibe and a steady stream of patrons. After the shop was bought, nearby residents weren’t sure what would happen to the shop they knew and loved. Located just off the busy 17th Avenue strip, the renewed Caffe Beano has again become a neighbourhood magnet. And it comes as no surprise – this spot has all the right ingredients. Beano boasts a warm, trendy atmosphere, amazing coffee and knowledgeable baristas.
The Brew
Looking for more than your standard cup of coffee? Look no further. With Beano’s expansion and change in management in 2007 came an upgrade in their specialty coffees. Now you can head in for a satisfying cappuccino or one of their fantastic espressos. Care for a latte? Be prepared for a beverage as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate. If you look before you sip you’ll notice the skilled barista included a little art on your latte. This coffee shop has definitely grown up.
