A Glimmer of Hope
The Calgary Drop-in and Rehab Centre works with homeless men and women who come seeking help. They serve people who are intoxicated or under the influence. They offer food and shelter. If you find yourself without a home for the night, you get a warm bed. If you want to find your way back to your own home, they offer transitional housing. At the Calgary Drop-in Centre, you can catch your breath while you rebuild a life. They also offer counselling and employment services. Most homeless people also need to rebuild their identity.

Their Rightful Place in Society
The Calgary Drop-in Centre is a hopeful place despite the evident stress. People can watch TV, chat and play cards at the second floor day area. And with so many people going through their doors, it can be quite chaotic. There are rules to obey to insure everyone’s safety. Most importantly, the Calgary Drop-in affects so many lives. It’s a safe haven so people can find their way back to society.
