The park
Calgary’s Canada Olympic Park (COP) was the original site for bobsled, luge, ski jumping and freestyle skiing during the 1988 Olympic Winter Games, and has since continued to be a world-class competition and training facility for athletes, as well as a top-notch recreation facility serving the general public. COP is multi functional, and operates year-round programs and activities. During the winter months, COP registers in the range of 292,000 ski and snowboarders each year.
