Step into Casa Talavera and be transported into a whole different and exciting world: A world of salsa, sun and siestas. This store is a treat for the senses. And the merchandise is noteworthy, too. All of the little trinkets in this shop are worth taking a good look at. Everything has a unique, south of the border flavour to it. Here what you’ll find are handmade pieces to treasure.
A Touch of Mexico
The store sells mainly decorative pieces, like small statues and ornamental items. However, they also have a selection of handmade clothing, like warm blanket coats. This is not your typical Mexican import shop. Here no two items are identical. Everything is authentic and handmade. Much of the stock is ceramic, like brightly-painted fish, burros, vases and lovely and diverse renditions of Central American village scenes. There are also unique pieces like the miniature motorcycles constructed completely out of old car engine parts, or the twirling wrought-iron statues.
A New Addition
They newest addition to this fiesta of a store is unique crafted pine furniture from Mexico. Here you will find excellent customer service and competitive prices too. Drop by and leave the siesta for later.
