Undeniably, Chestermere has grown over the past few years, but there’s still a sense of the original small town. That’s why going to Chestermere Landing (Steak House & Wine Bar) is such a treat. Diners are treated to a view of the lake combined with a welcoming small town feeling at this friendly eatery. This restaurant boasts a deck right on the water, where every Sunday finds the locals and patrons from Calgary, Strathmore and the surrounding areas taking in the Landing’s fantastic brunch. Chestermere Landing has plenty of parking and can easily be seen from the main road. When driving from Calgary, take 17 Avenue or 16 Avenue east to hook up with Chestermere Lake.
Buffet Brunch Offers It All
The buffet brunch offers a full breakfast that includes: sausages, bacon, waffles, French toast, eggs, fruit, seafood and more. But that’s not all! For those interested in the “unch” part of brunch, lunch items include baked ham, strip loin, cabbage rolls, perogies, and a salad bar. And of course, your meal wouldn’t be complete without dessert. A full selection of cakes, pies and squares are offered to top off your meal.
Praise Earned and Warranted
Chestermere Landing has long been praised for its Sunday Brunch by local and Calgary publications. Be sure to book well ahead for special days and holidays like New Years Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, which always fill up fast.
Weddings & Anniversaries
Chestermere Landing prides itself on its exceptional party space. They are equipped to cater to both large and small occasions, and several different banquet menus have been developed. Choices may include salads and seafood platters to start, followed by your selection of prime rib, boneless chicken breast or filet of sole, and accompanied by the chef's selection of mixed vegetables, roast potatoes and steamed rice. The dessert buffet comes replete with assorted cakes, sheet cakes, cheesecakes, pies and squares.
