A multipurpose facility for old and young alike
The Chestermere Regional Recreational Centre offers loads of indoor and outdoor activities on its 28 acres of land next to Chestermere Lake. They’ve got rental halls, soccer fields, an ice rink, even a riding corral. And to top it all, they’ve included an Olympic-sized arena.
Recreational programs and beyond
Having a wedding or a business meeting? Want to give your child a shot at ice hockey? What about a playschool for three year olds? The Chestermere Regional Recreational Centre rents out their facilities, which include banquet halls and arenas. And they’ve got family programs such as soccer, hockey and baseball and before and after care services. Plus there are numerous annual special events like the country fair, Family Halloween Howler and the Family Christmas Party.
Year round activities
Chestermere Regional Recreational Centre is busy with twin arenas with year round ice. There is a curling arena and gym. The banquet facilities can accommodate up to 700 people. Outside you’ll discover three ball diamonds, three soccer fields, a riding corral, and playground and barbecue area. Organizations that use the facility on a regular basis include the Chestermere Community Playschool, Chestermere Cadets, Beavers, Cubs and Sparks. The Chestermere Agricultural Society works in conjunction with the Chestermere Regional Community Association to manageme of the Recreation Complex and the Agricultural arena of the Complex grounds. The Agricultural Society hosts a variety of events in the outdoor corral.
