Get in the Groove
Dancing is about more than just moving your feet to the beat. It builds confidence, camaraderie and teaches kids to concentrate. Of course, those are only a few of skills and traits that your child can learn at Children’s School of Dance. They will also learn about performing in front of a crowd at the school’s yearly recital where they will show off for all of their family and friends. Kids anywhere from the age of six to the age of 18 are welcome to sign up for a number of dance classes including the nursery rhymes class, ballet, R.A.D., jazz, tap or Foley. It’s even better if they want to do more than one. Every now and again they do put on an adult hip hop class, so everyone over 18 may want to check it out as well.
Fabulous and Flexible
While you may not be as flexible as you were when you were 13, it doesn’t mean you can’t learn a little gymnastics. They teach the sport to the little kids here, but they are more than willing to teach the older generation as well, and it doesn’t matter if you are 35 or 85. Of course if you are on the higher end of that age spectrum they probably won’t expect you to do the vault, but you will have fun regardless and improving your fitness level is only one of the many benefits you will receive.
