Your Own Masterpiece
The Clayground is a paint your own ceramic studio that provides a fun, creative environment in which to produce your own masterpiece. Produce your piece by first selecting one of the three hundred unpainted ceramics on display. Next, choose from over seventy colors as you paint your piece. Once you finish painting, the staff at The Clayground will clear glaze your ceramic and then fire it in their kiln. Five to seven days later you can pick up your masterpiece.
A Creative Playground
Opening in 2001, The Clayground welcomes groups, sports teams, parties, school groups, and social gatherings of every kind; they will host birthday parties, corporate functions, friendly get-togethers, bachelorette parties, baby showers, family reunions, and private parties on the weekends. The Clayground seats up to thirty-eight people, and they can arrange to have a liquor license for your private party if given advanced notice.
Affordable Art
The Clayground does not charge a studio fee, and their ceramics cost half of what similar pieces often cost at other studios. If you want to paint your own ceramic piece at your home, school, or at another venue, The Clayground’s staff will gladly bring their supplies and come to you.
