Comic-Kazi has been a comic collector’s haven since 1994. Starting out within Northland Village Mall, Comic-Kazi moved, in 2006, to its own storefront location on Macleod Trail SW. The main floor of Comic-Kazi features two huge rooms. The main room is filled with comic books, graphic novels and collectibles. The back room is dedicated to manga and Japanese anime. The upstairs of Comic-Kazi is dedicated to action figures – just about every type of toy and fantasy figure imaginable can be found there. They also support the local comic arts scene, with the annual 24-hour comic day and by offering 10 percent off of art supplies.
Discover the Kid Inside
Comics aren’t just for kids, but for anyone who has an interest in storytelling. It is easy to immerse yourself in the world of comics and superheroes at Comic-Kazi. As well, you can rediscover your own youth with classic toys, such as 1970s and 1980s action figures and memorabilia. Were you a Mr. Fantastic fan? Batman? How about The Hulk? They also feature full action-figure lines of current sci-fi and action movies and TV shows.
