The Cottonwood Golf and Country Club is a beautiful course in a natural setting with easy access from Calgary. It takes advantage of the rolling hills on Calgary’s outskirts and offers plenty of challenging golf terrain and beautiful treed views.
Learn to golf
The club’s teaching academy offers 16 driving range stalls, a grassy teaching area separate from the rest of the course and large putting greens with bunkers to practice on. There’s also the “Swing Solutions” computer to help you sort out all the issues with your swing. You can opt for one on one private lessons, group lessons for you and some friends or co-workers and junior lessons for the kids. There are also more specific programs like the “Swing Solution” lessons that analyze your swing and give you drills to correct it. There’s also the personal coaching program that extends over the whole golf season. This will help you improve all the aspects of your game. If you want a more “hands-on” approach, they offer a playing lesson out on the course.
