The Deerhead Café has perfected its menu, making the most of its simple offerings such as Steak and Eggs, Steak Sandwiches, Donairs and Onion Rings. Completely unpretentious, brown vinyl encased menus can be found tucked between serviette holders and large white sugar dispensers. The old fashioned mix master promises thick shakes for those looking for a cold and creamy treat.
Old School Decor
With seven booths for four, three tables for two and one long table for eight, the only other seating at the Deerhead is found at the counter, where regulars often browse through the paper with a cup of coffee at the ready. The proclaimed cash-only register and single high chair reminds one of a highway truck stop, wood paneling and all.
Friendly Service
Upon entering, a corkboard provides patrons with a place to display their business cards. A real mounted deer head greets customers, and the service has been described as excellent.
