DeVry opened its doors at this current location in 1998, and in 2001 became the first for-profit private facility in Canada able to grant degrees. Owned by one of the largest degree granting higher education systems in North America, it is a leading electronics and technology based business educator. Since its humble beginnings in 1981 with only a Computer Information Systems curriculum, DeVry has rapidly changed with the times and now offers a variety of programs and courses.
On Campus
Commerce and technology go hand in hand at this dynamic and high-tech campus. Its sleek walls and business-like atmosphere attracts those wanting real world experience and smaller class sizes, where work and education blend seamlessly. From online courses to a selection of part time and full time studies, the flexible scheduling allows the most career focused as well as the devoted student to achieve their different goals. Programs include Business Operations, Computer Engineering Technology and much more.
High Achievers
Even as it boasts a high graduate employment rate, DeVry has a whole lot else to be proud of. With many joint industry campaigns, programs with local high schools and scholarship offers, DeVry accelerates individuals onto their career path. They even run an “Earn and Learn” campaign, where working individuals can get tuition money back into their pockets. However, it is most likely that you’ve heard of DeVry in the news for its internationally recognized robotics teams that participated in worldwide challenges.
