The Place
Situated on historic Stephen Avenue Walk (8 Avenue SW), this three-level, rustic inspired café is the ideal spot to savour a perfect afternoon, perhaps on the chic patio. Beautiful sandstone brick throughout and hardwood floors add to the classic ambiance. As the name suggests, Divino Wine & Cheese Bistro specialises in wine and cheese, including both established and well-regarded favourites from around the world, as well as more moderately priced selections.

Tasty Lunches
But the moniker may be misleading, as the exceptional menu has significant weight. An applewood-burning grill doubles as a smoker, and a forno oven produces mouth-watering flatbreads and pizzas. Start your lunch off right with the Lyonnaise Salad or perhaps the Smoked Salmon Flatbread. For your main course, you may want to try out the Lobster Cannelloni or the Alberta Prime Entrecote Roast served with beets, gold potato puree and crisp parsnip.

Fine Evening Dining
There is plenty of selection on the dinner menu. Starters include the Onion Soup Gratinee and Escargot Cocotte. Fill up on the Black Pepper Linguine or the Veal Trio with smoked tenderloin, braised cheek and crisp sweet breads.

Wine and Cheese Menu
If you are in the mood for a wonderful plate of cheese to go with a fabulous glass of wine, you will appreciate the many choices available at Divino. The selection of both is very large. Cheeses include Le Chevre Noir from Quebec, the Brie De Meaux from France, and plenty more from around the world. The same goes for their wine selection, and your server will be ready to recommend combinations that will make your taste buds go crazy.
