Dance the night away
You don’t have to be a pro to dance the night away at Don Quijote’s. Even if you don’t know how to dance, don’t worry, you can learn here after your meal. Tango lessons occur every Wednesday night, no need to book ahead, it’s all drop in. The dance floor is the centrepiece of this restaurant, and they make sure that it is put to good use. Don Quijote’s has been feeding Calgarians and teaching them how to move since 1997. Minors are welcome, but not after 10 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are looking for a location to host a unique and original office party, then give the folks here a call and make arrangements.

La Bomba
Thursdays are La Bomba night, and the live entertainment comes on stage at 9:30 and goes until closing. Fridays and Saturdays the bands fire up from 10 pm until 2 am, giving you plenty of time to get out on the floor. Prior to dancing up a storm, or if you need a break and some refreshments, check out the menu here. Spanish appetizers include the Pollo Dulce, which is deep fried breaded chicken sautéed in a honey garlic sauce. There is also the Cigalas Alajo, which is baked scampi in garlic butter. Main courses include a variety of beef and lamb dishes, veal, pork, chicken and seafood done with a Spanish twist.
