The Big Picture
The Drake Inn & Pub is a Canmore favourite. With the ambiance of a country inn, décor is simple and charming, and staff is warm and friendly. The Inn’s restaurant and pub is a popular meeting spot for those in town for a round of golf or a day of hiking or skiing. Find the Drake Inn along the creek on Railway Avenue in Canmore, just 45 minutes west of Calgary. The scenic drive is worth the trip!

Accomodations
The Drake Inn offers clean, comfortable accommodations, with rooms available in Standard, Suites, which are front-facing, or Creekside, for those looking to take in the full scenery feast. For small to medium sized gatherings, the Inn offers a private banquet room and on-site catering. The onsite Drake Pub and Restaurant is a local hotspot. The restaurant offers a variety of choices including chicken & ribs, steak, tex-mex dishes, burgers, and a few vegetarian favourites. The pub is divided into three sections, and features live entertainment, satellite television, and plenty of varieties of draft on-tap. In the summer, the Drake opens up its two outdoor decks, for food and cocktails in the sun. In the winter, skiers enjoy warming up at the Drake, snuggled into its cozy couches in front of two roaring fireplaces.

Local Attractions
Canmore is just minutes away from Banff, and between the two areas there are plenty of things to do and see. Enjoy golfing, hiking, skiing (downhill and cross-country), horseback riding, whitewater rafting, or mountain biking. Folks in town to take in the sights can enjoy a gondola trip, a cave tour, or a visit to the Columbia Icefields. There are plenty of shops, galleries, restaurants and museums. And the list goes on!
