The Big Picture
This family-owned enterprise was founded in Winnipeg in 1971 and has since expanded to include stores in Calgary and Edmonton. At conception, E-Children was designed mainly with children in mind, offering a broad selection of furniture and accessories for kids – newborn to teen. Today the store has diversified its product lines to include clothing, home décor, safety products and furniture for the adults in the house. One thing that hasn’t changed: E-Children offers high quality products at affordable prices.
What’s in Store
Product lines offered by E-Children are vast and varied and often quite exclusive. Many of the products made by ‘top shelf’ name brands, are surprisingly reasonable in price. Look for every kind of ‘baby gear’ invented, by such names as Mountain Buggy, Peg Perego, Zooper, Baby Bjorn, Britax, graco and Bugaboo Frog , to name a few. Furniture for baby on up to adults is available by Morigeau Lepine, A.P Industries, South Shore, CollegeWoodWork, EG Furniture, Amisco and Shermag (again just a sampling!). Accessories include home décor, clothing, bedding, safety products, diaper bags and bassinets.
Unique, High-End Furniture
Those in the market for unique high-end furniture and products can browse in person at one of three E-Children stores in Canada, or they can jump online and do their shopping from home. In Calgary the E-Children Store is located just South of Chinook Shopping Centre in Fisher Park.
