About the Hall
This hall is conveniently located in the Rozsa Centre on the University of Calgary Campus. Since its opening in 1997, it has hosted a number of heads of state, including the President of Mexico. Governor Generals have been on the ticket, plus, perhaps its most famous guest, the renowned Pavarotti. It is acoustically treated for sound and makes an excellent venue for concerts, lectures, weddings, funerals or any other type of event one can think of.

The Works
The hall boasts a brand new organ, and was designed with specific sound features in mind. It has full sound and lighting systems, and a well-set-up back stage area that includes dressing rooms and other facilities. The state of the art recording control room allows users to create broadcast quality recordings. The hall can seat up to 384 guests, which includes wheelchair access and seating.

The Amenities
Concession stands sell a variety of juices, snacks, and candy, nothing hot, and they do carry canned beer and some wine. For ticketed events, customers can buy from the campus ticket centre. Binoculars are not needed in this hall. The venue is available for anyone to rent; customers are not required to be affiliated with the university. Interested parties should contact the University of Calgary’s Theatre Services.
