A Place for Vegetarian Meals, But Much More Too
Elita is established in the space formerly operated by Sunfood Cafe, a restaurant that was dedicated exclusively to vegan and vegetarian offerings. Elita has kept a large vegan and vegetarian segment in its menu, but non-vegetarian dishes are also now included, giving perhaps a broader appeal to the dining public. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, with the menu clearly segregating dishes for vegetarians at each meal. On the whole, Elita has one of the most eclectic menus around, including a diversity of dishes from the cuisines of the Pacific Rim, India, the Mediterranean, and America.

Breakfast and Lunch Served
Among a long list of choices, the vegetarian might go for an omelet burrito made with eggs, cheese, vegetables, and mushrooms, all wrapped in a spinach flavoured wheat tortilla, then baked, and served with a small salad and fruit. The meat lover can have the same thing, with the addition of smoked meat. For lunch the vegetarian might opt for a baked eggplant and zucchini jumbo sandwich with cheese. The meat eater can order from a list of items containing smoked meat, chicken, prawns, and fish.

Dinner Entrées
The dinner menu has the same type of choices. The vegetarian might select the Magic Wok of Tibet, a healthy stir-fry of sautéed vegetables in a saffron-turmeric sauce, served on a bed of rice. The non-vegetarian can choose an item like Mongolian beef, which consists of thinly-sliced beef sautéed with diced vegetables in a spicy sauce. Elita has the best of both worlds, with lots of choices whatever your dietary preferences. The menu is extensive and deserves some serious consideration.
