Fitting in with the majestic scenery that surrounds this pub, the Elk & Oarsman is a true mountain getaway with a timber and river rock décor, a large stone fireplace and staff that is there to ensure that you have a relaxing evening. When the weather heats up, take advantage of their rooftop patio, which offers an incredible 360 degree view of the Rocky Mountains. Families are welcome every day until 10 pm, after which it is adults only.

The cuisine at the Elk & Oarsman is on the higher class end of the food spectrum, even though it could be technically defined as pub grub. Start your meal off with the Smoked Coho Salmon Slate or maybe the Elk Nachos. Your main meal might consist of the Baja Shrimp Pizza or maybe the Crispy Chicken Wrap. If you want some red meat there is always the popular 8 oz top sirloin or the 10 oz veal chop. Entrees include the likes of the Maple Glazed Salmon and the BBQ Baby Back Ribs. Prices may be a little higher end than what you find at your average pub, but then again, so are the flavours.
Party hard
Catering to groups is what they do here – no matter what the size. Whether your group consists of four of your buddies or 100 of your closest friends, they have a place for you at The Elk & Oarsman. Larger groups of up to 100 can enjoy their own personal party space, and if there are more of you, you are welcome to buy out the restaurant and take it over for the evening.
