The Building and Venues
Occupying 10 acres in the heart of downtown Calgary, EPCOR Centre is a spectacular hotbed for theatre, entertainment and cultural gatherings. The EPCOR Centre has five theatres, including Martha Cohen, Max Bell, Engineered Air, Motel and Big Secret. It is also home to the world-famous Jack Singer Concert Hall, which seats up to 1,800 guests. Also housed within the six-level, 400,000 square foot complex is a radio station, café, gift store and salon spa. For those looking for a formal gathering place, the EPCOR Centre is equipped with meeting rooms and banquet areas. These rental facilities can accommodate intimate gatherings of fewer than 20, or grand events of up to 2,000 people.

The Events
Each year the EPCOR Centre plays host to more than 1,800 events and performances. Events include live theatre (professional and community), art exhibits, dance performances and music concerts ranging from symphonic to rock. The EPCOR Centre also hosts children’s events, public forums, award ceremonies and sporting events. You can even get married at EPCOR Centre!

The Performers
Brilliant performers and discerning presenters of all varieties are fans of EPCOR Centre’s Jack Singer Concert Hall. The highly desirable venue is designed for pristine acoustics and is efficiently organized and operated. The Concert Hall houses the renowned Carthy Organ, one of the largest pipe organs in Canada. EPCOR Centre’s convenient downtown location offers excellent access to hotels, restaurants, parking and shopping.

The Place to Be
One of only three major performing arts centres in Canada, the EPCOR Centre attracts more than 300,000 people per year. Patrons from Calgary and Southern Alberta gather to mix, mingle and share the vibrant spirit that embodies the Province’s dynamic population.
