It's places like this that make your average McDonald's or Baskin-Robbins execs a wee bit nervous. Food that's fast, tasty, and healthy? It'll never fry, I mean fly.
The Food
The Extreme Pita takes the build-your-own healthy sandwich idea that made Subway a success and takes it one big step further with sautéed meats and vegetables and gourmet additions like feta and honey mustard.
Sandwiches range from classic Falafel or Souvlaki to Sirloin Steak and Surf n' Turf. It also promises that none of the meats contain added chemicals, hormones, or water, and a section of the grille is reserved for veggies only. Top it off with a decadent tastin' I-can't-believe-it's-not-uncultured yogurt treat and you're set for your next 10K, champ.
Open 'til 3am three nights a week for those times when you've already done enough damage to your body to inflict it with another greasy burger. An idea whose time has come.
