Flatlands Café celebrated their first day in business on September 1st of 2007. Since then they have developed a loyal following consisting almost entirely of the downtown business crowd. This café serves up an early morning breakfast, a filling lunch, and caters any time of the day you need. They specialize in simple food from the prairies that is well prepared in a stylish manner at reasonable prices. The proprietors of this café create their feasts using organic products whenever possible.
On the Menu
You will want to check out what they have on the board at Flatlands Café. For breakfast you may want something as simple as a straight up black organic coffee and a yogurt, or maybe you have a bigger appetite and would like the protein breakfast sandwich. Lunch brings on an array of meals including a few made with bison such as the bison dip. There are also a fair number of vegetarian meals to choose from.
Catering to the Masses
The masses as long as they only consist of under a hundred or so guests is fine by these caterers if you need someone to take care of that business luncheon. They’ll also do weddings and other private functions, but you may want to give them more than their usual 24-hour notice if you have something fancy going on and want a hot meal that will take some planning. Other than that, just call a day ahead and they will get you set up with a breakfast or luncheon with something from their long list of simply gourmet meals.
