The French Maid is known as one of the more upscale strip clubs in Calgary, providing a venue for male entertainment that caters to downtown office workers as well as guys out on the town. The lights may be low inside, but the décor is classy and the food prices reasonable, making the French Maid a popular lunchtime “meeting” spot. In addition to food and drinks, the club provides a pool table, darts and more to keep patrons occupied. It is unclear how much use the games get, as the real draw for most patrons is the main stage.

Acknowledging that bachelor parties occasionally involve women who take off their clothes, the French Maid offers a variety of packages for soon-to-be grooms looking to shake it up one last time. With all packages, guests will receive free admission and reserved seating. Some of the perks of a higher-end package include free t-shirts, free Sambuca shooters, or a Polaroid with one of the dancers.

Pay-Per-View Sports
It does say Sports Bar on the marquee outside, and though it is known for gentleman’s entertainment, the French Maid delivers for sports fans. The club features some big screen televisions which show other male distractions, including everything from auto racing to football. Pay-per-view sports broadcasts are regularly televised here as well, drawing crowds for events such Ultimate Fighting Championships and boxing bouts.
