Gracie and Gruff is owned and operated by a group with over 15 years of experience with toys. The staff at this Calgary retailer keeps children on the move and their imaginations active by providing a broad selection of quality toys and learning material. They offer something to suit every child’s interest and age level with a wide selection of high-quality toys, puzzles, and games. They will also try to find and order anything they don’t have in stock – but chances are it’s already there!.
Gracie and Gruff offer many different toy lines as well as other items, including a huge selection of books. One of Gracie and Gruff’s specialties is Canadian products including handmade baby blankets and wooden toys. They also have classics such as Stieff and Lego. There’s an emphasis on toys that help kids to learn, so there are lots of puzzles and building blocks.
At Gracie and Gruff’s 3,000 square foot Macleod Trail location, children can read or test their favourite toy before taking it home in the store’s huge gazebo. Gracie and Gruff’s also offers story time on Tuesdays and Saturdays for the enjoyment of the little ones. Stories are very important to Gracie and Gruff and they stock over 700 book titles, from traditional to the latest rages. They also have a location in Banker’s Hall for convenience to those working downtown.
