On a magnificent landscape that spans 4,500 acres, Griffin Valley Ranch soars over streams, stretches across valleys, and encapsulates mighty forests. This truly is a land of beauty. From the meandering river trails to the crests of the ridges, the scenery is sublime, the views breathtaking.
Western experience
When the staff at Griffin Valley Ranch invites guests to drive out for a western experience, they really mean come out and saddle up a horse, take a wagon ride, or spend the night in the tee-pee, the long house, or a covered wagon. Owned by the Griffin family for more than 50 years, the folks here are as ‘country’ as it gets, and are welcoming as the trails, as friendly as the dog next door. At Griffin Valley Ranch, the motto is: ‘Come Make a Friend.’
Activities and amenities
During the summer, the Ranch hosts the Horse Sense Program, which runs weeklong adventure camps for horse enthusiasts from eight to eighty years of age. The Ranch also hosts wagon and hayrides, and pony lead-arounds. There are horseshoe pits and picnic shelters for those who like to have fun outside of the saddle. Meals can be arranged.
