Did you know that Richard “Rick” Mauran opened the first Harvey’s location in Richmond Hill Ontario in 1954 and the location is still open to date? Because Harvey’s was the name of an auto dealer, names like Humphery’s and several others were considered. Harvey’s is Canada’s only home-grown hamburger chain, and has approximately 300 locations across the country.
The Food
Harvey’s burgers aren’t as fast as others, but that’s exactly what makes them better. Every burger is freshly grilled, and freshly garnished in front of each guest, with exactly what and how much they want of it from their wide selection of toppings. It’s what makes every Harvey’s burger “a beautiful thing”.
