Higher Learning
Without you, who would try out their creations? The fine fare at the Highwood Dining Room is not meant solely for the enjoyment of the student body at SAIT. In fact, they would love it if more and more non-students would take the time to enjoy the cuisine prepared here. This restaurant is on campus, and it is a learning environment for students in the Culinary Arts program at SAIT as well as the Hotel and Restaurant Management pupils, and you can bet that they are doing their best to impress you with their creations.
Rotating Menu
Because it is a learning environment, the student chefs who are preparing your meal at the Highwood Dining Room will be continually trying out some new creation for your dining pleasure. Feel free to call ahead and find out what is on the menu that day. Reservations are required anyhow, so they’ll be happy to talk about what they’re cooking up. The menu changes from lunch to dinner and from season to season.
Eclectic Tastes
There will always be a variety of choices on the menu, and that goes for your appetizers as well as your main courses and don’t worry about salads or desserts, it’s all taken care of. The list of items you will find on the menu are rather diverse and may range from Ostrich Carpaccio to Chicken and Crab Cakes.
