Since then, the shop has resided in three separate locations, settling at its current address in northeast Calgary more than 20 years ago. The store consists of a grocery and produce section, where pastas, sauces, olive oils and pizza doughs are neatly displayed on shiny shelves, and fresh tomatoes, olives and artichokes are tantalizingly plump with flavour. The deli serves fine meats and cheeses, created carefully from ancient recipes before making the journey to the big city of Calgary. An adjoining cappuccino bar serves tasty tidbits along with fragrant brews, and to top it all off, the store is staffed by friendly family members of the store’s original owners.
