This exciting and interactive dining experience is enhanced by the design of the restaurant. Seats are placed at wooden bar counters around the grill, making it just as easy see the chef as it is to chat with your neighbour. The Japanese inspired screens and light fixtures create an intimate atmosphere, even if your party is on the larger side.
Food With Flair
As you sit at the Teppan grill, enjoying the Japanese inspired decor, you cannot fail to be amused and enthralled by the chefs. Not only will they dazzle you with their use of cleavers and dramatic flames, but they'll also whip up a dinner to remember. If you have something special to celebrate like a birthday or an anniversary check it out. Gather around the grill to have your dishes of grilled seafood, chicken and steaks, complete with soup, salad and appetizer, prepared and served right in front of you, teppan-style, or retire to a tatami room for added dining privacy. Your entire meal is prepared with a flourish right in front of you.
Teppan and Sushi
Introduced to North America in the 1960s, Teppanyaki is directly translated from Japanese to mean "the iron table." In actuality, teppan is a grilling technique that produces steak, chicken, seafood, and freshly chopped vegetables cooked to perfection. On the other side of the Japanese Village spectrum is the sushi bar. Experience all of the hallmarks of Japanese artistic cuisine: textures, contrasts, colours, harmonies and deft arrangements, all equally pleasing to the eye and the taste buds. Suisha, sashimi, tempura and other specialities are yours to be had.
