Java Jamboree is a break from the hustle and bustle. The shop is comfortable, with seating at small wooden or stained glass-topped tables, or in rattan loungers, stuffed armchairs, or a sofa. There are lots of magazines and newspapers to consult while enjoying your brew, and the walls are covered with attractive artworks and photographs from local artists. There is an implicit invitation to sit and relax, rather than rush in, grab a coffee, and go.

A Great Cup of Java
Java Jamboree features quality coffees from such names as 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters, Josuma Coffee Company, Malabar Gold, Monsoon Medley and others. The brews are exceptional and the baristas are talented. They use a high quality espresso maker made by Synesso, and in preparing your order they often indulge in a little “latte art”, placing an attractive leafy design in the cream atop your libation. This small, amazing delight seems to be a signature of the shop. Scones, muffins, crumbles and biscotti are on hand if you want a snack with your coffee.

Bistro Food Available
If you get to Java Jamboree later in the day, you can satisfy your hunger pangs with a variety of bistro food. Sandwiches, wraps and paninis are available with fixings that include chicken, egg salad, tuna, salmon, roast beef, ham, turkey and appropriate garnishes. Fresh soup is on the simmer as an accompaniment to your favourite sandwich. Quesadillas are also a specialty. Finish off with a selection of fine Dutch gourmet chocolate from Copperneur. Bulk coffees are for sale to take home.
