When you walk in the door at King Tut Donair, the first thing you will notice is the smell of the spices used in the cooking here. It is a small place, not the type of restaurant you can expect to be waited on hand and foot, but they take pride in keeping it clean and the atmosphere friendly. You can hang out and eat in store, or have your order packed up to take back to the office with you. Located along 12th Street, parking is usually pretty easy to find since you aren’t right in the downtown core.
A Full Donair Kinda Menu
They have a traditional menu here, complete with your main course, dessert and something to wash it all down. If you are a beef person, try out their beef donair. If you aren’t really the red meat type, how about their always popular chicken shawarma. Try out their falafel if you have had the donair every day for the last two weeks – it’s time for a change! They also have donair salads, grape leaves, hommus bread, fatyre, kibbie and tabouli for your dining pleasure. You can finish off your meal with a piece of honey and nut filled baklava that is sure to put that sweet tooth to rest for the remainder of the day.
