Lakeview Signature Inn opened in Calgary as Residence Inn by Marriott in May of 2001. In the spring of 2007, the resort changed hands and underwent extensive renovations. Today, a modern, well-appointed all-suite hotel, Lakeview appears to be in fine form - flourishing under new management. General comments give this suite hotel top marks and in 2008 it was the recipient of the Housekeeping Award.
The Suite Life
Lakeview Signature Inn has 120 suites (studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom), each equipped with full kitchens, including cupboards stocked with cookware and place settings for four. Other on-site amenities include a fitness centre, a large indoor saltwater pool and whirlpool, and an outdoor sports area designed for basketball, volleyball or tennis. Guests enjoy a free hot breakfast, high speed Internet access, and unlimited use of the facility’s full-service business centre. Lakeview also has more than 1300 sq feet of (audio-visual-equipped) meeting space available for corporate meetings, social gatherings or weddings with up to 100 guests.
