Le Beaujolais restaurant has operated in the same location in Banff for almost thirty years, and in that time has become a classic in French cuisine. The à la Carte Menu is Impressive
Appetizers and salads include mixed field greens with citrus Dijon vinaigrette and parmesan chips, nicoise salad with smoked tuna carpaccio, duck fois gras au torchon, escargots with herb butter, and Coquille St. Jacques. Main courses include braised elk paupiettes, milk-fed Quebec veal chops Normandy, whole Dover sole meunière, grilled salmon with gnocchi à la Parisienne and filet mignon stroganoff. The dessert menu is in keeping with the other offerings at Le Beaujolais.
Special Dinner Offerings Available
If you wish to partake in a special dining experience apart from the à la carte menu, Le Beaujolais offers a couple of choices. Table d’hôte dinners are available, offering choices of three courses. Also offered is a six course surprise dinner, with the menu especially created by the chef, and served with a wine pairing selected by the Maitre’d. A private dining room is available by reservation for parties up to thirty-two, with personalized menus and flowers provided. Planning services for such events can be arranged.
