Lots Of Games, Lots Of Tables
Whatever your game – snooker, eight ball, nine ball, one pocket, straight pool, bank pool, or others – you will find it here. There are over twenty full-sized, well tuned billiards tables at Leather Pocket, each with its own overhead lighting and lots of room to play the game without interrupting, or being interrupted by, others playing at nearby tables. Pool cues, chalk, rests, and other implements are supplied, but bring your own cue if you have one. Tournaments are held on Saturdays, and in-house leagues meet here on Mondays.
The Arcade
The arcade at Leather Pocket is in a separate room adjacent to the tables. It includes a number of familiar electronic driving games, pinball machines, and an air hockey table, but also has some choices not regularly seen in most arcades. There are two electronic dancing games – Stomp and Groove Two. In both of these games players stand on a wide platform in front of the large screen and step out elaborate dance steps, moving their feet in time with flashing arrows that scroll across the screen and platform. If you have never watched such a game in action, it is fascinating, and entertaining, display.
Bar Facility And Snacks
The Leather Pocket is a fully-licenced premises and beer, coolers, and liquor can be ordered as you desire. Have a cool one while you play, or just relax and enjoy watching the games around the room. Pub-style snacks like nachos, pizza, and chips are available at the bar. All tables are rented by the hour, so just check in when you arrive and you will get set up for an afternoon or evening of fun on the green baize.
