Lina's, just northwest of Calgary's Little Italy, offers more than just a complete line of Italian groceries. Look for imported Italian kitchenware as well as homemade sauces, sausages, bruschetta and frozen entrees.

The in-store deli carries fresh meats and cheeses from around the world. Friendly staff can help you choose the right combination for appetizers, dinner or excellent sandwiches. As you stroll the store's aisles, the tempting aroma of fresh-baked breads and goodies wafts over from the attached cappuccino bar. This is bound to lure you in--don't try to fight the urge. The fresh focaccia, pizza, pasta and soups are worth a good half-hour of your time. For dessert, try the decadent tiramisu or a baked treat and a special coffee or granita.
