Local Class
It may be a neighbourhood pub, but that doesn’t mean that it has to look it. Local 510 is a slight bit on the more classy side of things than you would expect to see down the street from your house. The pub is done up with plenty of wood and has a nostalgic, yet elegant look to it complete with classic chandeliers. But there is plenty of modern to go along with it, including televisions that are always broadcasting plenty of sports, especially the Flames.
Local Chow
There are plenty of regular finger foods at Local 510 including lots of calamari and ribs to go round, but they also have more unique items like the baked brie and baguette to get you started. For a full meal, their chicken pot pie has a home cooked feel or if you want something a little more extravagant, then try out the seafood penne or the halibut. Priced as you would expect a decent pub to be, the menu has plenty of choice on it.
Local Sights
Of course there is no better place in Calgary to be if you want to do a little people watching or just chill out and meet some new friends who are into the same trendy scene that you are, and Local 510 can certainly accommodate this. Hang inside or take your martini out onto the patio. The pub has a good wine selection as well as eight brews on tap.
