Longview, while it may look like a long way when you first unfold that map, really isn’t all that far, and you won’t find a prettier drive anywhere. Head south of Calgary and then cut through either Black Diamond or High River. You’ll have an amazing view of the mountains and oil wells and cattle everywhere you look, so you’ll be in the mood for a nice juicy steak by the time you arrive at this decadent little restaurant. For such a small town, the folks here do up their meals in a big way. It is a great place for a first date, anniversary, birthday or just a quiet night out with loved ones. They will be happy to host small functions of up to 50 people if you so desire.
Juicy and Tender
They say what sets them apart is their knowledge of the food, how they have perfected the art of preparing it, and that the food itself is entertainment enough for their loyal patrons. Longview is the heart of cattle country in Alberta, so they know their beef down here. They’ll prepare it just the way you like and serve it up in style. Also on the menu are various chicken, pork and fish dishes and you’ll find four different specials on the board every day. Meals are affordable and there is a full bar and hand-picked wine list to compliment your selection.
