Cowboy Cuisine
You don’t have to be wearing a cowboy hat and boots to grab a bite to eat at Mavericks, but you certainly won’t look out of place! It’s Stampede year-round here. Mavericks features a variety of western style cuisine including their always popular steak sandwich - done up just the way you like it. There are a number of sandwiches and entrees on the menu and everything is mid-point priced, making it excellent value, as well.
If It’s the Flames You Seek…
Let’s face it, unless you have season tickets or a good in with your box-seat holding company, it can be awfully tough to gain entrance to the hottest game in town – the Calgary Flames. But, before you cut your losses, try heading to Mavericks to catch the game. They are an officially licensed NHL Centre Ice venue and will be broadcasting every game in high definition on one of several plasma televisions, as well as on the 120 inch projection screen.

Mavericks is located in the Big Four Building of the Stampede grounds. They have function space for up to 250 and extend their hours to midnight whenever there happens to be a major event at the ‘Dome.
