One of the larger venues within the Epcor Centre for the Performing Arts, the Max Bell Theatre seats 750 and is home to one of the city's foremost theatre companies, Theatre Calgary. With three-level wrap-around seating, there isn't a bad place to sit in the house, although the lush four-person box seats situated on the 1st and 2nd balconies are usually among the most popular tickets.

The lobby area of the theatre can accommodate large post- or pre-performance crowds, and with full bar service there's never a lack of something to do during intermission.
