Customers rave about the good deals on the good food at Mba BBQ Noodle House, and one of their favourites is the BBQ Duck. The BBQ pork comes in a close second, apparently. Everything is priced well enough so that you can easily order a lot more food than you are likely to eat and take the rest home with you to feast on for the rest of the week. The restaurant is fully licensed and offers catering for the lunch crowd downtown, or delivery to your home at dinner time. They will also be happy to accommodate groups of 20 or more right in the restaurant. The atmosphere is pretty casual, so you don’t have to worry about dressing up or holding your chopsticks right. Hey, grab a fork and knife, nobody cares as long as you leave full.
Food for Thought,br> While Mba BBQ Noodle House is within strolling distance of a dozen other Chinese restaurants in Calgary’s famous Chinatown, this restaurant has its own unique feel and brings in plenty of regulars who appreciate the fair prices and fast service. Dishes such as beef flank with ho fan soup, and Miso seafood udon line the menu, and they have a number of specialty dishes that are a little more authentic than you will find in the Chinese restaurants of suburban Calgary. Customers wanting something a little different can try the pork feet and jelly fish, or maybe even the curry fish balls and pork skin. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!
